In addition
to the familiar Ringneck pheasants at The Highlands, we guarantee
that 20 percent of the pheasants you encounter will be of
an exotic variety, including:
Pure White: Eye-catching and extra meaty, these large, attractive
birds clean easily and taste delicious.
Black Melanistic:
This magnificent breed originated in Europe over a century
ago. Males are black with a glossy green and blue sheen; females
are greenish black.
English Blackneck:
A beautiful bird that would make a cherished trophy for any
pheasant-loving sportsman.
Afghan Whitewing:
Smaller than Ringnecks, these quick, alert birds are known
for their excellent flying ability. Males are identifiable
by their dark base color, emerald green neck, and a white
patch on top of the wing.
